Architectural Engineering Design is a course designed to intensify art content and process beyond the core art class while allowing students to focus on architecture. The course will provide instruction in the fundamental concepts of art through architectural history and design theory with an emphasis on the history of architecture and its basis for design criteria. Through the study of architectural engineering design theory, students will be provided instruction in fundamental concepts of structural and civil engineering. Additional emphasis will be placed on logical reasoning, visualization, and practical application using 1, 2, and 3-point perspective and color applications.
